How to Enrol

Thank you for considering St Patrick's Primary School, Gympie for your child's primary education.

The table below is a guide to when children are eligible to enrol in the preparatory year at St Patrick's Primary School.

Please contact us directly on 07) 5489 3200 should you experience any difficulty completing the online application for enrolment.

Enrolment Application Process

1.  Complete and Submit the Online Application for Enrolment Form

• Complete and submit the Online Application for Enrolment Form
• If applying for more than one child, you will have the option to submit additional applications once the first application has been completed.
• After lodging your application, you will receive an email confirming that your application has been successfully submitted.

2.  Provide Supporting Documentation

Please provide the following documents promptly after submitting an Online Application for Enrolment Form:  

• Birth Certificate
• Baptismal Certificate (if applicable)
• Last two school reports (if applicable)
• Last NAPLAN Report (if applicable)
• Any Legal documents, Medical Action Plans, Student Specialist Assessments, Learning Adjustment Plans (if applicable)
• $50 non-refundable enrolment application fee (our bank details will be emailed to you)

In Person:  Administration Office, 18-26 Church Street, Gympie (Park outside St Patrick's Church, walk up Church steps and take pathway between the Church and School grounds, take steps up into school grounds and the Administration building is on your left, marked Reception).

3.  Enrolment Interview

Once your online Application for Enrolment and required documentation has been received, we will phone you schedule an enrolment interview with a member of our Leadership Team.  It is important that all prospective students attend this interview with their parents or legal guardians.

4.  Offer of a Place

If a place is available, families will receive a Confirmation of Enrolment pack.

To accept the offer and secure your child's place at our school, the completed Confirmation of Enrolment Form and other documents must be returned along with a $150 Enrolment Confirmation Fee.  This amount is applied to the school fee account as a partial payment of the first Term's tuition fees.
